Ranking Rules

Ranking points are calculated using the table listed below.

1	10	12	Points awarded by AFF will be multiplied by 3 and added to the corresponding category in the SA ranking

The following is an explanation of competition types

• Normal - Any scheduled FencingSA competition that is not identified by a name
• Special - Any scheduled FencingSA competition with a title, e.g. Kneal/Thomsen/State Championships
• National - Any AFF scheduled competition.

Note for Veterans

As the AFF does not currently publicise points for its National Veterans, points will be applied to the final rankings of these events as per the Local column above and then the 3X multiplier applied to determine the points to be awarded locally.
