23/07/2010 FencingSA seeking sponsorship

Fencing SA is in the process of sourcing sponsors for the Fencing SA State Team and next years Robyn Chaplin Tournament.

Please send any sponsorship enquiries to fundraising@fencingsa.org.au. All discussions referring to potential arrangements with a future sponsor will be kept in complete confidence with FencingSA.

13/07/2010 SA Results at the AFF Cadet and U15 National Championships

Fencing SA would like to congratulate all who went to the AFF Cadet and U15 National Championships and especially our silver medal winner Michael Dzodzos in the Cadet Men's Foil.

Other notable results include:

Jackson Michael, 12th, Cadet Men's Foil

Well done to everyone who went, especially all the younger fencers who made the big step up to national level competition for the first time.

9/07/2010 Competition Cancellations - Saturday 10th July and Sunday 11th July

The following competitions are cancelled:

Saturday 10th July - Open Women's Foil
Sunday 11th July - U20 Women's Epee, U20 Men's Epee, U20 Women's Foil, U20 Men's Foil, Novice Foil, U15 Women's Foil

All other events will proceed as timetabled.

6/07/2010 AFF Circuit #3 Tournament - Entries Due 16th July

Entries for the 2010 AFF Circuit #3 Tournament, to be held in Perth, WA, from Friday 6th to Monday 9th of August (inclusive), are due with FencingSA by Friday 16th July 2010.

Please note that the entry fee has risen to $60 this year.

Entry forms and payment should be submitted to your club or via post to FencingSA at PO Box 6224 Halifax St SA 5000. All fencers must be correctly licensed with FencingSA.

Entry fees are $60 per individual entry for each event, except in Veterans events where one entry fee entitles a fencer to compete in other Veterans events. Late entry fees of $120 per individual entry for each event will be charged for entries received after the closing date and up to roll call on the day of the event.
